Customer Update 1st Nov 2020
To meet latest government guidance, we are sad to advise that CRS will be required to close for 4 weeks from Thursday 5th Nov until Wednesday 2nd Dec and will re-open as normal on Thursday 3rd Dec.
All existing or new bookings will move to the next available day/date when you normally ride, or we can provide you with a voucher for the same amount.
Lessons and hacks will continue as normal until 9pm on Wednesday 4th November.
CRS is therefore planning at present to RE-OPEN on Thursday 3rd December 2020 at 9am.
As customers will be aware, CRS takes everyone’s safety very seriously and our Covid systems have been used very successfully for a number of months. We have followed or even exceeded all the British Horse Society’s and Government Guidelines in our safety procedures and risk assessments.
Thanks to our amazing customers who we know are so helpful and cooperative in working with our staff and each other, our great team will be keeping our horses and ponies fit and healthy ready for your return in 4 weeks’ time, hopefully!
Here at Cheshire Riding School our Sunday Stroller hacks are one of the most popular adult activities that we offer.

We have hacks that take place regularly to Marbury park, the Aston Ring and the Cheshire bridleways.
Whilst we are out on our travels we will stop for ice cream, a cup of tea or a cold drink all dependent on the weather!
With our friends over at Davenports tea rooms we always receive a welcome from there staff, clients have been known in the past to treat our horses to the odd ice cream.which they thoroughly enjoy
These rides are very popular and book up fast, we require advanced booking and payments.
We have a maximum weight limit of 13 stone and riders must be competent in canter.
If you would like further information or to book give our ride leader Jane a call on 01606 892111.

Take back the rein has been proven to:
* create friendships
*increase confidence levels
*burn calories & increase aerobic capacity
*help with toning and strength
*build bonds between horse and rider

Exam date booked through the british horse society.
The British Horse Society provides road safety training for horse riders and operates a Riding & Road Safety Test, which over 4,000 riders take each year. RoSPA recommends that all riders should undertake road safety training, if possible before riding on the road, and take the BHS Test Here, you can find further details on road safety training for horse riders.
It is not essential to own a horse in order to take the test, as many riding schools and centres organise them for their pupils. Similarly, you do not have to attend a centre in order to take the training and the test. Although the published dates refer mainly to tests being held at centres, if a group of ten or more people can get together, many trainers and assessors are happy, subject to a satisfactory BHS Riding and Road Safety risk assessment being carried out, to come to them.
Candidates do not have to be BHS members.
