British Horse Society Stage Two Training
We have  British Horse Society Stage Two training days  on Wednesday 1oth and 16th of November with our Chief Instructor Phillippa Founds BHSII, BSc Hons, UKCC L3 coach and TAQA L3 assessor. The aim of the day is to provide attendees with exam technique and to help them to build their confidence in time for their exam. Phillippa has been training students for their stage two exam for over ten years with excellent pass rates. Phillippa understands the stresses of exams and can will give constructive feedback to help you gain as much as possible from the day.

British Horse Society Stage Two Training is aimed at those who are taking their exam here at Cheshire Riding School on the 22nd of November or those looking at taking it in the future. The day will consist of two hours of theory and practical with an aim of covering the stage two syllabus. There will be group discussions and questioning and will run in an exam format, which will allow attendees to gain a feel for how the exam will run.

During the day we will lunge suitable exam horses. There will be a discussion on the tack used, ha felling of the equipment, relevant health and safety followed by the chance to lunge. Phillippa will assist as required and be able to give you useful hints and tips to improve both your lungeing technique and horses way of going. Phillippa encourages questions throughout all aspects of the stable management and lungeing.

The riding will be one hours flatwork followed by one hours jumping and will be carried out on the horses being used in our exam. This is a great way of seeing the horses that will be used, riding as part of a group and discussing the feedback the examiners will require on the horses way of going. Phillippa will coach the session and deliver relevant feedback to riders as required. Each rider will receive individual feedback at the end of each riding section.

All attendees should come dressed for riding and being around horses. The days can be booked fully at a cost of £90 for the five hours or alternatively you can book just the riding for £60 or the stable management for £45. We will discount the days to £80 each for those who book both full days. Full payment is required on booking in order to secure your space.  If you require more information please contact our reception on 01606 892111
