Here at Cheshire Riding School we have just gained our BHS Where to train status up to BHSII we are pleased to announce more dates for the delivery of training with exam dates to be set for Autumn.
BHS ITT Training with Sarah Simpson BHSI
Delivery of the Day
Monday 5th June.
We have arranged a BHSITT training day with Sarah Simpson BHSI, Chief Assessor on Monday 5th June.
This will be an informative day and will cover several aspects of the exam this day is designed to help give those attending an insight into the expectations of the examiners.
Each attendee| on this BHS ITT Training with Sarah Simpson BHSI will have the opportunity to get involved and deliver coaching sessions for flat work, show jumping and simulated cross country, gaining helpful constructive feed back from Sarah on how improvements could be made to improve yourself as a coach, your riders or the horses involved. The day can also be spent observing for those who wish to listen and take notes from each session.
There is chance to become involved in the delivery of feedback and those attending to become as involved as possible.
During the day there will be chance to ask Sarah questions on the theory parts of the exam along with the construction of lesson plans and presentations.
These can be done as part of a discussion to get other coaches experience and take on each subject area.
We will provide suitable riders and horses who we have been chosen to help simulate an exam environment.
Riders will have a competitive history, be young or green, or just require polish to help them to improve.
The day will run from 9am – 2pm with no break for lunch to help maximise learning.
Tea and coffee will be available for all those attending.
The BHSII (British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor) training courses are designed for anyone considering taking their Stage 4 Riding, Stage 4 Horse Knowledge and Care and/or the Intermediate Teaching Test.
This day is designed for students preparing for the BHS Intermediate Teaching Test examination and will cover the planning and delivery of a lesson, teaching riding, fence jumping,
