RECENT NEWS......During last summer, both BBC and ITV Television visited Cheshire riding School!
OUR NEW CAFE IS NOW OPEN and serves a full range of Hot and Cold food, snacks, real coffee and chilled drinks, provides catering for Birthday Parties and Functions.
Cheshire Riding School passed its very thorough annual Licensing Inspection with flying colours yet again. In fact the Inspection Team report states,.."A very professionally run establishment which is a model for other riding schools, the management continues to strive to achieve maximum, safe and quality service for its customers".
We also offer Loan shares, working livery, Part Livery and Full Livery.
Although we cannot guarantee the weather we do guarantee a warm welcome from our friendly members of staff.Brookhouse Equestrian Centre Improvements
We are currently making more improvements to our Cross Country course in readiness for the new show season when Hunter Trials are planned.Bridgewater Riding Club are soon to start their third show season at Brookhouse Equestrian Centre
Equestrian shows are held on our superb showgrounds and purpose built facilities, these include the normal open shows, Northwest Showjumping Championship Finals and cross country events. We are pleased to acknowledge the kind assistance and Grant Aid from the Rural Enterprise Support Unit at Reaseheath which helped create the centre, (including work to our Medeaval Barn).

The BBC visited CRS in July 2007, and filmed ALL DAY for Children’s BBC TV programme “Do Something Different” which was screened on CBBC on 26th July 2007 on BBC 2 with Presenters Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes formerly of Pop Idol.
The BBC selected Cheshire Riding School for filming of various children’s riding activities including Pony Club Games and other fun filled activities, six of CRS’s customers took part with presenters Sam and Mark who had fun on our horses supervised by our Instructors. A display of behind the scenes/camera pictures can be viewed in our CAFE.
The ITV Visited Cheshire Riding School also in July 2007, and filmed most of the day for the 6pm Granada news programme, WHAT's ON which was screened in late August 2007 with presenter Caroline Hacking.
The ITV selected Cheshire Riding School for filming of Caroline, (who hasn't ridden before) and she was seen learning all about Horses, mucking out, grooming, tacking up, having a lesson on Molly, Hacking out and generally having fun, all carefully supervised by our Instructors and Chief Ride Escort Jane. A display of behind the scenes/camera pictures can be viewed in our CAFE.
Cheshire Riding School is now fully approved by the British Horse Society (BHS), Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) and by the Pony Club as a Pony Club riding Centre. It is also a BHS approved Livery Yard and BHS "Facility Centre" including the all weather surface Farm Ride, cross country course and show facilities.
