Welcome to our new Combined Training Competition on Saturday 1st August from 11am.

New for summer 2015 is our  Combined Training competition . Combined Training is competition that consists of a Dressage test followed by a round of show jumps and is open to ADULTS and CHILDREN.

Combined Training is proving to be a very popular choice of equestrian sports as it allow riders to showcase both their flatwork and show jumping skills. Riders can pick a dressage test and a height of fences for which they are comfortable with and ride their favourite horse or pony for the competition. The classes will be judged throughout the day, with a rosette awarded to all competitors.  All classes will be judged separately for seniors and juniors, and placings awarded accordingly.  Riders must have ridden their chosen horse or pony previously, and feel confident. Book early to secure your favourite horse or pony.

Dressage tests

Pick your dressage test and your favorite horse or pony.

Intro A – this is for our less experienced clients and consists of just walk and trot.

Prelim 7 – this test is for those who are cantering, and have full control over their horse/pony

Novice 28 – for our more experienced clients, more challenging for those who want to push themselves.

Ask your instructor which class is suitable for you!

Show jumping

Mini – this will be small enough for our riders to trot over, no fillers or rider frighteners.

Intermediate – slightly higher and a little more challenging than the mini.

Open – this will see the fences increase in height and width. Fillers to be included in this class to add to the challenge.

Our Combined Training competition is aimed at everyone to help and encourage all levels of riders to enjoy this sport. Our friendly team of staff will be on site to help settle your nerves and give you that added bit of encouragement.
