Next up in our Spotlight Series is BHS Approved Centre Cheshire Riding School, this is our assessment.

When we assess a centre we look at the centre as a whole; facilities, horse welfare, customer care, and quality of instruction to provide a quality assurance standard for those looking for a centre to learn or continue to ride. We then have three different levels of approval to reflect the quality and range of both teaching and facilities available.

At Cheshire Riding School, it is clear that they have maintained excellent standards as 2015 marks their tenth year of being a BHS Approved Centre. Upon their latest inspection, they were awarded ‘Highly Commended’ across the board of our Inspection Criteria which is our highest level of approval. All staff receive at least two hours of training per week and the Vet, Farrier and Physio make routine weekly visits to ensure the Horses and Ponies on site are in upmost condition.

Their impressive facilities are set to expand- with plans well underway for a higher capacity gallery for the Indoor Arena in addition to the recent all weather Farm Ride and Cross Country Course. Experienced in the BHS Education structure, they offer training for BHS Stages Exams up to Stage 4, Riding & Road Safety Tests, First Aid courses and Progressive Riding Tests plus much more!

With an active event schedule alongside the Riding School, they regularly host demonstrations with top riders and trainers, having recently welcomed Geoff Billington and have upcoming events with Dressage rider Sue Bradshaw and our BHS CPD Day! It is well worth keeping an eye on their website, or active Facebook page!
