We are pleased to announce that we will be running our next British Horse Society riding and road safety exam in APRIL 2017 . The riding and road safety certificate is a pre requisite for the BHS Stage Two exam and this course will enable enough time for those wanting to book on to our Stage Two exam in July.
The exam will run throughout the day and consist of the three units which candidates are required to pass in order to gain their riding and road safety certificate.
We have a training course available which is recommended by riding and road safety examiners and trainers to ensure that those taking the exam have both the knowledge and the experience to enable them to not only pass the exam, but to go on and ride safely on the roads.
Our training will take place over 4 weeks and is taken by our riding and road safety trainer Janet Lomax who has a 100% pass rate for her previous exams. Our training dates are as follows:
Tuesday 21st March 6-9 pm
Tuesday 28th March 6-9 pm
Tuesday 4th April 6-9pm
Tuesday 11th April 6- 9pm
EXAM will take place on Tuesday 17th April during the day.
The cost of the training course is £150 which includes horse hire on the day of the exam. Those who are not attending training sessions will be required to pay a horse hire fee for the exam day of £45. This is in addition to the exam few which is payable directly to the BHS.
If you would like to book on to the course please contact our reception on 01606 892111. All exams are to be booked directly through the British Horse Society on 02476 840 508.
