British Horse Society ITT Training Dates
British Horse Society ITT training Sarah Simpson BHSI Chief Assessor will be joining us each month for training towards the British Horse Society Intermediate Teaching exam. These days will run from 9 am until 2pm and will cover set areas each time. We will provide suitable riders to enable those attending to coach real life situations. The days will cover a mixture of practical and theory and are open to those who want to get in there and have a go and also those who want to just spectate.
Throughout the day
Sarah will put a program together and those attending will have the opportunity to coach a variety of sessions. Throughout the day there will be group discussions, the chance to ask questions and also gain feedback from Sarah and other coaches on the day. The day is run with an aim to encourage, educate and to add that extra polish to coaches, whether you plan to take the exam or just update yourself. There is always lots of involvement and interaction with each other is encouraged, through discussion and questioning.
We can deal with requests for those who have a specific area they want to cover with prior notice. The days cover several practical elements of the exam including simulated cross country and lungeing.
These days always book up fast and require full payment to secure your booking. All bookings are taken through reception – if you have any further questions please email them over to Phillippa or leave a message on reception and she will call you back. We are able to offer these days as part of the BHS Scholarship scheme.
Our next ITT training day is Friday 28th April.
