We are pleased to be able to offer a BHS Intermediate Teaching Training day to those training towards the British Horse Society Intermediate Teaching certificate. The day will be taken by Sarah Simpson BHSI, Chief Assessor and will cover the coaching of a lunge, group and private dressage lesson. There will also be the chance to go through the theory of the exam and the examiner expectations.

We will be providing suitable horses and riders for the BHS Intermediate Teaching Training day to enable those attending to get e real feel for the requirements. Sarah is a Chief examiner for the exam and is full of up to date knowledge of the examination system. Sarah will be available throughout the day to answer questions and will give all attendees individual feedback. Attendees are advised to bring with them a copy of the syllabus which can be downloaded from the BHS website, along with a pen and paper to take valuable notes. During the day those attending will have the chance to take part in the delivery of the coaching sessions or if they prefer they can observe each session.

Due to the nature of the day there will be maximum numbers set, along with the possibility of riding. The day will run from 10am until 3pm with lunch eaten on the go to help get the best out of the day. Lunch is not provided and suitable clothing for teaching outside should be worn.

The day must be booked and paid for in advance. If you have any further questions please contact Phillippa on reception.
