 Training the young horse

GEOFF BILLINGTON RETURNS

A lecture demonstration with a focus on training the young horse.

After a complete sell out in August, Geoff will be returning to do a follow up lecture demonstration on Saturday 20th February with a focus on ‘Training the young horse’

Geoff will be joining us with a team of horses, and will talk us through a range of training techniques which he uses in their successful training. Geoff will show us groundwork exercises, Lungeing as well as riding, with an emphasis on correct training and way of going. Geoff’s exercises have proved to be useful to not just the show jumper but also the dressage horse. Geoff focus’s on getting your horses attention along with beneficial straightness and supplying exercises.

Geoff  has represented GB at National and International level, and has represented Great Britain in the Olympics. Geoff will demonstrate some of the skills that have helped him to train and become  one of the country’s top riders. Geoff welcomes questions and in usual Geoff style will give you a logical answer. An evening with Geoff Billington is always entertaining, he has a great sense of humour and personality, making the evening one not to miss. During the break Geoff will make himself available for questions, and the all important ‘selfie’.

The demonstration will take place in our indoor arena and refreshments will be available during the short break. Tickets for the last demonstration sold out fast so if you want to secure your tickets call reception. Tickets are priced at £20 each and would make an ideal Christmas present. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve tickets without payment.
